Grace has carried me and it still is
Today, I take a moment to truly acknowledge the grace that has carried me… not just in the easy moments, but through every hard, heavy, and breaking point I’ve ever faced.
I see it now.
Through surviving being born premature…
Through learning how to walk when it wasn’t guaranteed…
Through chaos, trauma, and everything I had to grow through…
Through surviving a 22-year relationship that tried to break me…
Through the fire, losing everything… and the strength it took to get it all back…
That wasn’t just me.
That was grace. That was God. That was something bigger holding me when I didn’t even know I was being held.
And today, I honor that.
I am grateful for the life I once prayed for—my family, my husband, the love that is real and rooted.
I don’t take it for granted. I recognize it. I give thanks for it.
I also give myself grace.
For the moments I wish I could physically do more…
For the times I feel limited…
For the pressure I place on myself to be “further along” than I am…
Today, I release that.
I acknowledge my growth—not just where I’m going, but how far I’ve already come.
I choose to end this week in peace.
In consistency.
In rest without guilt.
And I surrender what no longer serves me—
especially the part of me that moves from ego, fear, or the need to control.
I don’t have to carry everything alone anymore.
I trust what has carried me this far will continue to guide me forward.
