Receiving grace without earning it
Today, I release the pressure to prove.
I release the need to finish everything.
I release the belief that rest is laziness.
Grace is not something I earn.
It is something that covers me.
Even when I am tired.
Even when I am behind.
Even when I am still healing.
I acknowledge the grace already surrounding me —
the protection I didn’t see,
the timing I didn’t control,
the support I didn’t create,
the forgiveness I didn’t have to beg for.
Today I let gratitude be both loud and quiet.
Loud in my praise.
Quiet in my breath.
I give thanks for safety.
For my children.
For my calling.
For another chance to rise.
I have grown this week —
in restraint,
in wisdom,
in choosing peace over reaction.
Today does not need improvement.
I do not need to earn my blessings.
I am already covered.
I release worry.
I release urgency.
I release the pressure to get it all done.
This day is enough.
I am enough.
Grace is enough.
Love and light to all… and so it is.
