Softening without losing my strength
Today I release the belief that I must earn rest, love, or peace through performance.
I have been strong.
I have survived.
I have achieved.
But today, I allow myself to simply be.
I do not have to prove my worth through exhaustion.
I do not have to overachieve to be valuable.
I do not have to correct myself into being lovable.
Like the bee, I honor my work — but I do not overwork my spirit.
Like the dove, I carry peace — not pressure.
Today I choose strength that is regulated, not reactive.
I choose light that is steady, not performative.
I choose love that begins with me.
Even when I am not “doing the most,”
I am still enough.
Even when I move slower,
I am still aligned.
Even when I soften,
I am still powerful.
I am divinely loved without performance.
And I allow that truth to calm my nervous system today.
Love and light to all… and so it is.
